Katamari Damacy
I had originally planned to recommend 5 games, but while going through my long list of possible titles, I just couldn’t go without mentioning this last one — Katamari Damacy. Katamari is one of the craziest and most addictive games I have ever played and popular enough that most gamers don’t need me to go into details here. For the uninitiated, you play as the son to the King of all Cosmos and you are charged with replacing the stars that your father accidentally destroyed. You roll your Katamari ball around and things stick to it starting small with things like paper clips until you are rolling over buildings and even picking up clouds.
The music can get stuck in your head for days at a time and the story will also have you laughing as it is told through crazy videos between levels. Katamari has already added three more games for the series and, with new copies for $12.64 on Amazon, it would be a crime not to pick it up.
