Ubisoft announces I Am Alive |

Surprisingly, Ubisoft’s E3 press event brought no news whatsoever of Beyond Good & Evil 2, but they did announce a new IP called I Am Alive, the same title that Jade Raymond of Assassin’s Creed fame was rumored to be the producer of last week, and one that Ubisoft believes “is sure to shake up the gaming industry”. Coming to current-gen consoles next spring, presumably the 360 and PS3, I Am Alive is all about survival and takes place after a mysterious city-destroying event in a Chicago left in ruins. The story looks to be revolving around a fellow named Adam, and less than a week into this disaster, water seems to be a commodity and killing colleagues acceptable. More on this as Ubisoft decides it’s time.

Reminds me of Disaster: Day of Crisis for Wii. Whatever happened to that?

I believe that they said that this game was announced for the Wii too.
@Luke: yeah, me too, a bit. Disaster is more Japanese and IAA is more hollywoodian, though. Disaster was dealyed for “refinements”. Rumours are that it was either canned or had a date change because of the earthquake in China (similar subject, close dates).
