It just wouldn’t be a Nintendo press conference without fan-favorite Reggie Fils-Aime getting the crowd all riled up with a crazy announcement. It looks like the Wii MotionPlus is going to get plenty of use in the newly announced title WiiSports Resort. Reggie claims the game is “literally a day at the beach”.  The game comes packaged with a MotionPlus add-on and allows the game to offer true 1-to-1 motion recognition.

The games modes that were demoed for the crowd consisted of a dog-fetching disc tossing game, a jet ski simulator(pictures), as well as a realistic sword fighting simulator.  You can expect to see WiiSports Resort and the Wii MotionPlus accessorie in stores by the end of the year.
