Chuck Norris, roundhouse kicking his way onto mobiles this August

Chuck Norris doesn’t have a chin under his beard. He has another fist and a syndication deal with Gameloft! The publisher today announced a licensing agreement with America’s greatest hero, Chuck Norris, to produce a mobile game that will prove “if at first you don’t succeed, you’re not Chuck Norris.”

In Chuck Norris: Bring on the Pain, you play as either Ranger Chuck or Commando Chuck as he battles the combined forces of Fidel Castro and Kim Jong-il to defeat communism here and abroad, with all of the subtlety and cultural sensitivity that the star’s films are famous for. The strategic partnership that made this game a possibility was formed with Gameloft by Chuck Norris’ exclusive business development firm, Brand Sense Partners. The two teamed up in the beginning of this year to develop this first ever mobile video game for Chuck Norris fans of all ages.

The game is not just a binge of ironic patriotism and the wanton destruction of the world’s poorest nations. Oh no! It is actually trying to be a good and innovative game with an avatar feature that allows players to insert their own face (or that of a mortal enemy) onto the bodies of Chuck’s foes.

Chuck Norris: Bring on the Pain will blugeon, blast and blow its way onto mobile phones this August.
