PS3’s Platinum range in PAL shops this August
BY Andrew WoodsJuly 17th, 2008 More on:

It has been revealed that a bunch of early PS3 games are about to Platinum in the PAL regions. The first batch are due out in early August and should be priced about €30/£20/AUD$50/NZD$60. The initial line up includes all the big games of the PS3’s early life and include Motorstorm, Resistance: Fall of Man, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Assassin’s Creed, Virtua Tennis 3, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and Heavenly Sword.

This is great news. Who doesn’t love gaming on a budget and isn’t always looking for a bargain. The lower priced 360’s Classics have given gamers who picked up the system a little later a good reason to try out some of the early hits. And I am pretty sure that it was the release of the first Platinum games for the PSOne that finally persuaded me to get one. Maybe this will be the same now and boost the PS3’s sales figures still further.
