A new trailer has been released for the upcoming Street Fighter IV from Capcom, and it seems die hard Street Fighter fans (or other kinds of fans) won’t be disappointed. The “2.5D” graphics are looking great, and it will probably not be an issue for those dying for old school graphics, as the cell-shaded look just brings the game more depth.

The game will resemble Street Fighter II quite a bit, and the actual story will be somewhere between Street Fighter II and Street Fighter III. We will of course get back in touch with Ryu, Ken, Vega, M. Bison, Blanka and Guile, but we will also get to know some new characters; get ready for Crimson Viper, Abel and El Fuerte (the latter not really being the coolest name.)

Expect Street Fighter IV to hit the shelves early 2009 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
