It’s finally time to find out if the force is strong with us or not. In a video interview with G4TV, Matt Shell, the Marketing Manager at LucasArts revealed that a Star Wars: The Force Unleashed demo is on its way to PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE in August. The demo will be a special secret version of the Tie Fighter Construction Facility level, modified with a different ending than in the final version of the full game itself. Unlocked Jedi powers will also be available for players to experiment with. As Shell puts it, “Trust me, once you’ve played the demo and you see how the force is unleashed, you’re gonna want to play the game, no question.”

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be in stores September 16.
