Capcom and DC team up for Devil May Cry and Resident Evil comics
BY Luke Walker Jul. 29th, 2008 More on:

Capcom and DC Comics announced today that they will join forces to create the ultimate superhero comic book. No? Well how about a horror comic and an anti-hero comic? Great, because gamers and comic fans are about to get a series based on both Resident Evil and Devil May Cry.

Specifics like who is on the design team and when these comics will hit stands “will be released at a later date,” of course. However, we do know that both series will be published under DC Comic’s WildStorm label.

WildStorm already has experience with Resident Evil. They published multiple series on the license including stories from the games, hinted at in games as well as completely new spin-offs, like the tale of S.T.A.R.S. Charlie Team in Resident Evil: Fire & Ice.

Hank Kanalz, Vice President and General Manager for WildStorm said, “We can’t wait to continue, and bring a freshness and excitement to the property to match the amazing things they are doing with the game.” By this remark, can we expect the comics to feature Chris Redfield and his exploits in Resident Evil 5?
