Demigod trailer looks incredible
BY Dan HaspertJuly 29th, 2008 More on:

Demigod, the new game by Chris Taylor and his team over at Gas Powered Games, is a team-based action game with RTS and RPG elements, which will support one-on-one combat, but like many games these days, is built more for the team experience. The first official trailer for the game has now been released and not only shows how visceral the action will be, but how beautifully detailed and rich the world is. How much of the trailer is actual gameplay is unknown, but what is known is that Taylor and his team seem to have put together quite an intriguing game.

Before today I had heard of the game, and even glimpsed a few sceenshots, but nothing really sparked my interest until after watching this trailer which made sure I’ll be following the development of this one very closely. Stardock has announced that the game will be playable at PAX also, so we should have some hands-on impressions then.

Demigod is set for an early 2009 release on the PC, with some speculation the game will make the jump to consoles sometime after that.

This is definitely one of my most anticipated games for the far future seeing how Supreme Commander is perhaps my all time favorite RTS.
