We knew it wouldn’t be long before Tetris made an appearance on the Wii, and lo and behold here it is. Tetris Party will be arriving on WiiWare later this year and will not only include all the the standard fare block matching goodness that gamers love, but it will also feature a mode that will “utilize the unique point-and-shoot capabilities of the Wii Remote,” just like Dr. Mario Rx we’re assuming.

But that pales in comparison to the fact that the game will also support the Wii Balance Board! Though we’re rather mystified as to how that will come into play — simple left and right movements?
