id Software’s code guru John Carmack doesn’t talk often, so when he does, we listen. In the video above, 1UP’s Shawn Elliott had a chance to sit down with the man for almost 20 minutes at QuakeCon and talk about the home consoles and the difference between them from a developer’s standpoint, the possible future of the industry, what went wrong with Quake Wars, id’s upcoming Rage, and much more. It gets a little technical at times but needless to say, it’s a very interesting watch to those who like to follow this side of the industry.
