Favre traded to Jets, Madden 09 sheds a tear
BY Mike WehnerAugust 7th, 2008 More on:

As an admitted Cheesehead, I have been following the drama between the Packers’ greatest QB ever and the Green Bay upper management. I’ve known for a few days now that a trade was in the works but it was still up in the air as to whether it would be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the New York Jets who would aquire him. Well, last night the Jets snuck in, under cover of darkness, and stole Mr. Favre right out from under our noses. To be honest, that’s not the part I’m worried about.

The thing that makes me worry is that emblazoned on the cover of every copy of Madden 09 is good ole Brett in all his Packers glory. Will anything be done? Does EA even care? I doubt it, but perhaps a printable alternative cover is in order…

I don’t really see it as a big deal, but doing a reprint couldn’t hurt either. Most Madden gamers don’t care whats on the outside, it’s on the inside that counts.

    Do a reprint anyway.
