EA has announced their brand new Wii game, Celebrity Sports Showdown, from their new EA Sports Freestyle line of games. It’s a bunch of celebrities like Fergie and sports players like Mia Hamm in what’s basically Wii Sports. Here’s where you’d normally see a diatribe on how idiotic this looks but it isn’t even worth it. What is wrong with the world?
The game launches this holiday season and will be a whole ten bucks cheaper than a normal Wii game at $39.99!

I think it looks great, but we’ve been doing this for a while already in my house and gaming parties with custome made Miis in Boxing and Tennis. My favorites are Bush vs Hitler, Admiral Akbar vs Storm Trooper and Chuck Norris vs anyone else. Chuck always wins. :) I think they even did that on the Colbert Report with Boxing Miis of Steven Colbert and someone else political, Nancy Pelosi I think. That was funny.
