MMO’s are perhaps the only genre this gamer just can’t get into. I’ve tried, I really have, but there’s just something unidentifiable in the way of letting me really enjoy them. Being the sci-fi fanatic I am, I’m still hopeful that Stargate Worlds will be something I’ll be willing to pay monthly for, but as it stands, MMOs are a no go.

Cool cinematics that show nothing about what the actual game is like howewer, like the still-hot Wrath of the Lich King intro for example, I watch with pure joy and awe. As is the case with this new four-minute cinematic trailer for EA and Mythic’s upcoming Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, which is another prime example of sheer trailer-making brilliance. Filled with an insane amount of detail, little touches and funny moments, this is right up there with the best of what Blizzard has ever brought us.
