Much to the chagrin of zombie lovers (or haters) everywhere, Left 4 Dead won’t be making its expected November 4 release date. Instead, we’ll have to wait for our brain-splattering fix until November 20. This isn’t exactly the end of the world, as it’s only a delay of about two weeks. It becomes even less of an issue when you consider the fact that just three days later, the gaming universe will be graced with Gears of War 2. It’s hard to say how big of an effect on sales Left 4 Dead would have had on Gears had it kept its projected date of November 4, although we’re betting it wouldn’t have made much of a dent. Any way you look at it, there will be many empty pockets this holiday season for gamers around the world.
