Here’s something that’s sure to make many giddy with glee — Sony Worldwide Studio head Shuhei Yoshida has gone on the record stating that Fumito Ueda’s (Team ICO) next game for the PS3 will be shown “soon”.

Many believe that this points to the game being shown at the Tokyo Game Show this year, but Ueda is keeping his lips sealed as Sony still doesn’t have anything concrete set up for the event. He explains, “Tokyo’s more focused on consumers so we’re still working on the intricacies.” That being said, Ueda has confirmed that the game is still in the early stages of development and that he’s looking forward to unleashing it masses.
