Limited Edition Prince of Persia is free

Well it isn’t totally free. In fact you will have to buy the normal game, but if you pre-order that normal game, you’ll be upgraded to the special edition for free. Yup, no $20 tagged on for bonus materials, just free bonus swag that you can show off to your friends. You can pre-order from anywhere at any time but remember — it is a limited edition.

The free upgrade will bring you a Collectible Limited Edition packaging, an exclusive look at the making of Prince of Persia, a Prima digital mini-strategy guide full of developers’ secrets to help players master the year’s best action-adventure game, a digital art book that chronicles the game’s journey from concept to winner of Best Artistic Design at E3 2008, the original soundtrack scored by master composer Inon Zur and much more. Seriously, if you threw in a statue of the Prince then you’d have a Limited Edition that would normally cost you around $50 to $100 more and put you in a pickle for the holidays. Ubi would also like everyone to know that Penny Arcade will be launching a 32-page comic based on the new Prince of Persia game, though I don’t see how anything will be able to stand up to the beauty of the game itself.
