Let’s start off with some bad news. Unfortunately there is no European update due to a technical error. A post on the European PlayStation forum states: “Unfortunately, a minor technical problem has caused a delay to today’s PLAYSTATION Store for PS3 release of new content. We will get the content uploaded for you as soon as is possible. Apologies for any inconvenience caused, and we’ll be sure to update you with any news as soon as we get it.

The North America update is in full effect however and brings along a heaping spoonful of content. For those who purchased the annual subscription of Qore or bought Episode 04 of Qore, a demo for MotorStorm Pacific Rift is up for your playing pleasure. All you have to do is go to Qore Episode 04 on the XMB and pay a visit to the download center. The demo clocks in at 616 MB.

The latest exclusive title to hit PSN this week is Jeopardy! There’s really no explaining how to play this game. If you’re even remotely familiar with quiz shows, you already know how Jeopardy! is going to play out. The game has single-player, offline multiplayer, and online multiplayer modes. Jeopardy! comes with built in achievements, but Trophy support won’t come until sometime in the future.

PAIN is finally getting its Amusement Park level this week to go along with today’s patch that brought Trophies and a PAINlabs mode which lets us demo concept levels every week for free. The level however is not free. For $5.99 we get the level and four additional gameplay modes called Hot n’ Cold, Clown Toss, Trauma, and Call da Shot.

The PlayStation Store would also like to remind us of the new album from Metallica entitled Death Magnetic will be available as a full download for Guitar Hero III for $17.99 on Friday September 12. It comes with eleven songs including two exclusive versions of Suicide and Redemption.
