Activision CEO Mike Griffith confirmed at today’s Activision Blizzard Analyst Day that Call of Duty creator Infinity Ward will return with Call of Duty 6 in 2009. Developer Treyarch (CoD 3, CoD2: Big Red One) is going back to basics with Call of Duty: World at War which hits the shelves this November, so who knows what setting Infinity Ward have figured out for their next installment. As long as I get to shoot from the AC-130 Gunship we’re good to go.
