So just in case some of you forgot, the Xbox 360 will be receiving an update later this fall. This update is a complete and total revamp of the dashboard, throwing in a whole ton of features. Since the announcement at E3, Microsoft has been a little hesitant to show how it all works. Instead, Microsoft’s Major Nelson has been teasing us with these short tutorials.

So now, for all you starving 360 fans, we have a demonstration on how to create your very own Avatar. So watch away if you want to see some cute and cuddly Avatar making (now with Hats!) . As for me, I’ll continue to pretend that this update doesn’t exist.
