We here at TVGB just know you’ve been itching for some good ole’ down to earth mud-slinging. No, we don’t mean the presidential ad campaigns that have been littering the airwaves, although they are rather entertaining on their own. We mean, of course, that you have been looking for the right game to satisfy that off-road hunger you’ve had since you traded in the first Motorstorm title. Well you’re in luck, because by the time you’re reading this, Baja: Edge of Control is waiting for you at your local retailer, and is available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Baja features much of what you’ve come to expect from marquee off-roading titles such as gorgeous graphics and multiple vehicle classes to mess around with. The game promises a “revolutionary” physics engine that claims to give a super-realistic feel, without sacrificing the balls-to-the-wall feeling that racing fans crave. We’ll be spending some quality time with Baja in the next few days so expect a review by the end of the week!
