Oh Peter Molyneux, you’re so great at getting our hopes up. Dog navigation? Awesome. One-button combat? More awesome. Online co-op? Well, that might not happen right away. Gamespot has reported that the online co-op feature in Fable 2 will not be available out of the box. And on the Gamescore blog, the boys at Microsoft announced that the game will have local co-op out of the box, but that online co-op will indeed not be available day one. However, they do hint that the function may be available via download within the first week.
Personally, I don’t really mind as I will be to busy farting and belching at every passing villager to answer friend requests. Then again, the ability to virtually fart with a friend will be missed.

That is just lame. For such a major thing to not be included when the game is released after being demoed and promised is really crappy. They should have pushed back the release a week or two to get it right.

Its obviously not a good thing, but I’m sure almost everyone would want to complete the game single player before playing co-op
