In the never-ending hunt for the next big rhythm/music game, Activision has recently trademarked the name Dance Hero for use in a new IP. There’s literally nothing else to tell, besides the fact that the name scares us just a tad. Seriously, can you imagine a camera-based game where you have to move your body along with a pre-decided movement template on the screen? Sounds like either an epic waste of time, or an epic time-waster, depending on how it turns out.

Regardless of how horrible this could turn out for all of us, we can only suggest that Activision follow WiiFit’s example and make the dance outline for the American version just a little bit wider. We’d appreciate it greatly, thanks.
