Yes, Wii owner, it is time to rejoice as you too can now start downloading copious amounts of Rock Band 2 music for the Wii just like those 360 and PS3 owners. In an article in USA Today MTV Games confirmed “that the upcoming Nintendo Wii version of Rock Band 2 will offer the same online functionality — i.e. song downloads and Internet multiplayer modes.” Horay! Now the real trick is going to be finding a place to keep all those downloads because that minuscule hard drive ain’t gonna do it. Seriously, how many song packs do you think will be able to fit on there before you have to go through the hassle of uploading and downloading things to an SD card everytime you want to play it?

GH:WT supposedly lets you build play lists including songs stored on your SD cards. I would guess harmonix would be doing the same thing. At least I hope. Otherwise, it’s no RB 2 for me.

Yea, I heard about that. It’s the only way they can do it, cause I’ve transfered plenty of stuff to my SD card and it’s too much of a pain in the ass.
