After last weeks killer update, it seems things have cooled down a bit as we kick off October - at least until we get hit with a barrage of must-play titles in a few weeks. There isn’t much to be had this week unless we happen to be fans of FIFA ‘09 as there is a plethora of downloadables for it. If that doesn’t float your boat, there’s always the puzzle game GEON Emotions that has the potential of giving the brain a workout, or get seriously freaked out with the Bioshock demo. Sony is also providing us with the soundtrack to PixelJunk Eden and PixelJunk Monsters for (£1.49/€1.99) each.

There aren’t any full games to purchase this week except for Untold Legends the Warriors Code and Work Time Fun for PSP. However there are demos for Eternal Sonata, Bejing 2008, Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway , the previously mentioned BioShock, and NBA 2K9. Speaking of sports, for $19.99 we can become the happy owners of NBA Live 365. This feature keeps us up to date with player and team tendencies in the NBA with daily updates. The coolest feature is something called Dynamic DNA which allows us to relive any game of the NBA season with players that perform according to how they did in real life.
