Everyone that was up in arms over Nintendo’s mediocre E3 showing was given great cause to rejoice at Nintendo’s media summit this week. There were a slew of announcements all turning up the wow factor and causing many faithful fans to breathe a collective sigh of relief and thank the heavens that despite what they thought, Ninty had not abandoned them. Among all of the announcements one of the biggest was the unveiling of Punch Out!! for Wii. For those that can remember putting a beatdown on all of the colorful characters in the old NES cart and on Super Punch Out!! for the SNES this was good news indeed.

Fans of the original will know that the flair for *ahem* stereotyping and humor is still in tact, which you may or may not appreciate when you see Glass Joe get his jaw tapped and on his way to the canvas drop a plethora of croissants and bagettes.
