We’ll admit it, we were a bit skeptical when we originally heard rumblings that the iPhone would become a true force in gaming. I mean, it’s a cell phone, right? Well yes, it is indeed a phone, but that doesn’t seem to keep it from showing some real promise in the realm of mobile gaming.
If there was one single game that may be able to change your mind regarding the future of the iPhone’s gamer appeal, its name is Kroll and the proof is posted above. Now, we’re not saying that you’re going to mistake Kroll for an Xbox 360 game or anything, but it’s easy to see that the graphical muscle the iPhone flexes easily blows the DS out of the water. So what do you think? Can Kroll and the iPhone make their mark on the gaming market, or is this just another false alarm of N*Gage proportions?

I play a few games on my iPhone regularly, never been a “squint and play” type but the iPhone just works so well. I’ve tried the DS and PSP and just not got hooked.
iPhone games I play; Aurora Feint, Blue Skies (brings back good memories), Cannon Game (wish someone would extend this to be like the old classic Scorched Earth), 21 Pro and Never Putt.
Kroll looks good.
