Fanatec RennSport Wheel Stand: now you’re just a helmet and sponsor away from the real thing

Race fans, start your engines, whether they be PC or consoles, and strap yourselves into the new RennSport Race Stand (seat and straps not available until 2009). Compatible with Logitech G25 and Driving Force wheel series, Microsoft/Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel as well as their own products, Fanatec’s new stand is set to take the checkered flag for devout racing game fans.

The RennSport Race Stand is made to save the knees and desk spaces of gamers everywhere. It features sturdy steel and aluminum frame construction guaranteed to keep from shaking even with strong force feedback wheels. Better still, it is portable and can be folded up and put away in just about 10 seconds.

The stand offers an adjustable wheel angle, height and pedal position, but it also has an optional add on for a gear shifter mount perfect for Fanatec Porsche and Logitech G25 wheels. Fanatec will be releasing a race seat kit that will combine with the stand creating a full game room cockpit and transform you into Captain Falcon (not really).

Fanatec is known for high-end accessories and their new stand is no different. It will be shipping October 30 with an MSRP of $129.95 USD. For the truly hardcore this could just be the way to go. For the rest there is always TV tray stands or the Wii Wheel.

That’s awesome. I’d jump on that in a second if i hadnt already built my own race cage & thrown a seat in it.
