Genius creates calculator in LittleBigPlanet
BY Adam Sandberg Oct. 9th, 2008 More on:

There’s one fundamental rule in technology — To be really cool - make something phenomenal but pointless. What’s that you might ask? Well, motorized couches, Segway, ping-pong-playing robots, NASA projects and calculators in LittleBigPlanet all fall into that category. The latter is exactly what PSN user Upsilandre has created. Considering that this achievement is equal to a functional calculator in real life regarding complexity, we call this one a genius.

Upsilandre constructed his calculator using more than 1600 parts, including 610 magnetic switches, 500 wires, and 430 pistons. Check out the video above and be ready to lose all those dreams you have of becoming the LPG-level master. This is just further proof that even if you think you’re the best, there’s always going to be someone who’s better.
