Sephiroth and Snake infiltrate LittleBigPlanet
BY Brittany Vincent Oct. 9th, 2008 More on:

Announced at the mecca that encases my hopes and dreams, TGS 2008, two new Sackboys will be coming to LittleBigPlanet: the indomitable Old Snake and my first fictional love interest, Sephiroth. Very little information aside from the fact that they will be making an appearance in December has been released as of yet. It’s not even clear yet whether or not American gamers will get a chance to play with these diminutive recreations of a couple of the most famous gaming icons ever.

In case you’re behind on the variety of Sackboys that are already available, remember that versions of Nariko of Heavenly Sword and Kratos from God of War will also be around to cute up your LittleBigPlanet experience.

Now, I won’t be playing LBP because I can’t afford a PlayStation 3, but darn if these adorable little critters don’t seem to plant the desire in my head to sell off a quarter of my belongings to afford the whole package. Until I make up my mind, please join me in oozing over the screenshots and renders of the characters.

What’s the deal with girls and badboys exactly?

I thought for a minute there that the level of sackboy customization was just that good and these were fan created. Wow. I hope we get those there, but maybe change Sephiroth to Tifa. I’m a guy, what did you expect?

It could be that I was young and impressional, and guys with flowing, silver hair are handsome.
