Marvel Vs Capcom 2 for PSN and XBLA? |

Oh yesssss!! Someone over at the Neogaf forums has spotted evidence that Marvel Vs Capcom 2 might, just might, be headed for the Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. Apparently the ESRB updated their rating for the game to include both Sony and Microsoft’s next-gen consoles, with PSN and XBLA being the most likely methods of delivery. Indeed there are screen grabs all over the place of just that very thing.
Interestingly, as soon as the story started to spread the game was wiped from the ESRB database. That’s the whole game, not just the mention of PS3 and 360. Now this could mean one of two things. Either someone at the ESRB messed up by inadvertently announcing the game and Capcom asked them to pull it, or someone messed up period and our collective dreams are shattered.
We’ll communicate official news as and when it comes. Fingers crossed ’till then.

That was a great game. You know what would be even better? For the sequel use the characters from the respective movie cash in titles. So we could have Topher Grace as Venom and Jean Claude Van Damme as Guile…. You know, the better part of me doesn’t want to hit the “Add comment” button.

Of course, but who would be The Incredible Hulk. I say Edward Norton’s portrayal.
