After some possible delay chatter from retailers earlier today, Sony has confirmed that LittleBigPlanet is facing a worldwide delay because of two Qur’an references found in the game’s background music. “During the review process prior to the release of LittleBigPlanet, it has been brought to our attention that one of the background music tracks licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur’an,” the statement reads. “We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologise for any offence that this may have caused.”
This means that the game, which has already been shipped to European retail outlets, will likely have to be recalled, fixed, and then distributed again. Sony expects to announce new release dates shortly.
Update: If this source is to be believed, the new UK date is Oct 31.
Update 2: Sony will begin shipping the game to North American retailers the week of October 27.

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.
LBP seems cursed almost.

You got like 3 weeks…
I not sure why you would say cursed. What other problems did it have? I might not be in the know about all this LBP stuff but if you are talking about the BETA, that was just to test the servers.

The game was already delayed two times that I recall at the moment. The game always seems to be in reach only to be pushed back again for some reason.
