Zombies have a way of warming one’s heart like a hearty Thanksgiving dinner and, depending on your family, both may involve equal amounts of blood and violence. Seeing as Valve’s zombie survival FPS Left 4 Dead is set to drop a few days before the day of turkey and naps here in the US, it’s only fitting for the two to go hand-in-hand and now the union is getting just a little bit sweeter.

If you pre-order the game, you can save $5 right off the top on either the Xbox 360 or PC version. This deal is happening online at sites such as Steam, GameStop and Amazon as well as in retail stores that may or may not be fortified against a zombie invasion. There’s no word on when these savings may stop so if you’re interested in mowing down hordes of the undead, do it sooner rather than later. Same goes for getting yourself ready for when the invasion goes down in real life. Don’t call me crazy.
