The video above of the new Dynasty Warriors game for PSP is, dare we say, impressive? Yes, we did say that. The relatively small amount of actual gameplay shown is definitely eye-candy for PSP owners, but will it even matter with the DW name strapped to the front end? Sure, there remains a loyal fanbase to the standard series formula but this game looks like something bit different. With a decidedly more JRPG-ish feel, Strike Force seems like a natural fit for Sony’s handheld. We can only hope that this title will breathe a little bit of life into a rather worn-out line of games. The franchise has been around for at least four or five decades and Strike Force will officially be the 435th game in the series. Ok, those were gross exaggerations, but you almost believed them didn’t you?
