As part of EA’s “aggressive strategy” to move its IPs to more entertainment mediums, the company has announced that they have closed a deal with Universal Pictures to bring Army of Two to the big screen. EA and Scott Stuber of Stuber Productions are set to produce the flick while Scott Z. Burns, who co-wrote The Bourne Ultimatum, has signed on to adapt the game for the big screen. Production is set to begin next year and apparently, the project has already attracted some big name talent.
The first game in the co-op franchise has made over $100 million in sales since its launch this March, and a sequel has been recently confirmed.
