Street Fighter IV on consoles this winter, PC later

Street Fighter IV producer Yoshi Ono has revealed news good enough to keep me smiling until the new year. Speaking to X-Play about the console release of the game, Mr Ono said, “We don’t want to start rumors that it’s this year, but definitely this winter. At some point you’ll be sitting in your winter coat looking at snow out the window…and right then we’ll kind of heat you up a little with some hot Street Fighter action, so look forward to that.”

Of course, this little tidbit of information demands a hundred more questions. Questions like; ‘So it’s gonna be January, right?’ and ‘Why will I be wearing a winter coat indoors?’ and even a panicky ‘WHAT IF IT NEVER SNOWS WHERE I LIVE!?’ But maybe that’s just me. Either way, we’ll just have to wait for further announcements. PC gamers are in for a longer wait, however. Speaking to IGN, Capcom wouldn’t even reveal a vague season-based release date, opting instead for a non-committal, “PC version is in the works, but will come post-console release.”
