The next “hero” from Activision Blizzard
BY Alfonso Arana Oct. 27th, 2008 More on:

Guitar Hero. It’s been around for quite some time now, and just released its new hit, World Tour. GH has been around the console scene since when…2006? Although I think this is an awesome franchise, I always wonder what’s next for Activision Blizzard?

In a recent Jostiq interview Guitar Hero World Tour project director Brian Bright was asked if there were any upcoming music projects to be expected from Activision Blizzard. In response to the question, Bright stated that “Activision’s doing a DJ Hero game, and I can’t comment on what we’re doing.” Ever since the name DJ Hero had been trademarked by Activision in early 2008, rumors about the DJ scratching game have been on the horizon. Though Bright didn’t say much on the subject, his statement is the first offical word about the new “Hero” in the music scene — and that hero wields a turntable.

I thought being a DJ was a substitute for making your own music already? This is getting confusing
