Videogames and sequels go together like mashed potatoes and gravy — insert your own food-based analogy here — so it really shouldn’t be a surprise anymore when a developer decides to continue a franchise. In an interview with Play, Dan Sutton, associate producer of Saints Row 2, revealed Volition is plugging away on a third entry in the gangsta saga and taking it in “a new direction.”
Mums the word on details, of course, but I’m going to bet some mad scratch it’ll have guns, crime, plenty of hos and strange hats. It’s a little known industry secret that sequels are made just for strange hats, not unlike why I have birthday parties. Expect Saints Row 3 and its hats sometime in 20XX, aka, the future.
