LittleBigPlanet servers pull a false start |

As most of you probably already know, we’ve had LittleBigPlanet for awhile now. That said, we didn’t immediately have a chance to experience the most anticipated part of the game, the online portion, due to the fact that the servers were not on at the time of purchase. Media Molecule did, however, throw those switches into the “on” position yesterday morning and the world rejoiced…but not for long. The first couple online games we enjoyed ran smoothly, but it was all downhill from there. The rest of the afternoon and evening was plagued by frequent drops, disconnects and generally shoddy online play (if you can even call it that). It was so bad that today, less than 24 hours after being turned on, the servers were promptly shut down for repair. No ETA is available at this time, but every minute is truly painful. With all the problems this game has faced in just the last month, we’re beginning to think Media Molecule might be built on some sort of ancient Indian burial ground or something…

I will be picking up my pre-order today and hope the servers come up soon. I will have plenty to play before i try the online again( i was in the beta).
