Mirror’s Edge demo leaping onto consoles this week |

If the demos for Tomb Raider: Underworld and Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts didn’t have enough futuristic cityscapes and Asian free runners to sate your particular tastes, then you’ll be happy to know EA has heard the call and is delivering the goods to your face.
Hitting the PSN store on Oct. 30 and the XBLM on Oct. 31, the Mirror’s Edge demo will give you a taste of what jumping and sliding around an oppressive city in the first-person is like. As an added bonus, those who pre-order at select retailers will be given a code to unlock a time trial mode within the demo for extra fun and leaderboard bragging rights amongst the internet elite. It’s all super serious business once you get the internet elite involved, so if you do well, your sexuality will come into question. Stay strong.

I can’t wait to try this. I’ve been quite enthusiastic about this game ever since I heard its concept. “First-person parkour action / adventure?” I thought. “Sign me up!”

The demo will be there after Halloween. However, since it’s a videogame — and an awesome one at that — you’ll have to provide pictures of “darque nurse” to appease the power that be.

speaking of Mirror’s Edge, they are releasing an accompanying Remix EP. The focus will the the game’s theme song, “Still Alive” and features 5 remixes from some of music’s biggest names!
