Gears of war 2 — the sequel to arguably one of the best 360 games on the market and easily one of the most anticipated games of the year — is definitely getting the treatment it deserves by having midnight releases at over 20,000 retailers worldwide. In many large cities, including London, New York, and Los Angeles, Microsoft and their retail partners will be hosting lots of launch events including contests, prizes, and special guest appearances. As I’m sure everyone already knew, this is going to be a huge night for GoW2 and all of its fans.
