In fact earlier this year there was some unconfirmed confirmation of the fact. Nothing else popped up though and Capcom remained silent on the whole thing. Now though every zombie killing maniac out there can feel free to hope and and pray again. Recent insider information states that Blue Castle, a developer in Vancouver responsible for MLB The Bigs, is in fact working on Dead Rising 2 at this very moment. Capcom, they say, has farmed the game out to them in order to deliver upon everyone’s hopes and dreams.

Speaking with the reputable Eurogamer the source said that “Everyone’s really excited; the team has obviously seen the rumors and it’s been hard to keep quiet, but they can’t wait to show off the game.” Following this gushing statement with “It’s getting around - there is something amazing being built here at Blue Castle behind locked doors.” Sounds suspiciously like a purposeful leak to get people talking about the game as soon as possible. With talk like this, the as of yet untested company, better be prepared to wow us.
