Infinity Ward’s community manager goes off on Activision
BY Mike WehnerNovember 10th, 2008 More on:

Feuds between developers and publishers are certainly nothing new. There have been plenty of instances in the past where the gaming community at large has caught wind of disagreements between the folks that make the game and the folks that make sure it makes money. This, however, is perhaps the most heated and public display of unhappiness we’ve come across. Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling (aka: fourzerotwo) has posted on his personal blog a particularly harsh request that Activision’s Noah Heller “stop doing interviews”. Bowling’s major problem with Heller is that while Heller has been promoting Call of Duty: World at War he has apparently been stepping on Infinity Ward’s toes in the process.

If you’re too lazy to actually hit the link and check out the blog post for yourself, we’ll kindly provide the juiciest quote for you: “Can you guys please stop interviewing this guy, talk to someone who actually works on the Dev Team at Treyarch and knows what the fuck they’re talking about. Not Senior Super Douche Noah Heller from Activision - who apparently has never played the game and doesn’t even work at the developer.” Stop interviewing? That may be some rather difficult advice for Mr. Heller to take since he DOES work for one of the biggest companies in the business. Then again, judging by the picture above, Mr. Bowling can give us some advice ANY day of the week.
