Faking the Band 2 - Colour, shape and so on [Nov. 11] |

World Tour tries yet another trump card this week, and it is quite the doozy. The legendary guitarist and cultural behemoth Jimi Hendrix was already a part of the on-disc setlist, with exclusive cuts of “The Wind Cries Mary” and a live version of “Purple Haze,” but now there’s even more psychedelia to spread around. The Jimi Hendrix Track Pack will hit the Intertubes on Thursday, November 13 and will feature “If 6 Was 9,” “Little Wing” and a live version of “Fire.” Master recordings of this deceased dynamo are hard to come by and even harder to afford, so this is a rare and exciting occasion indeed! Just try not to set your plastic axe ablaze, eh?

I totally forgot about the Foo Fighters today. Thanks for the reminder. Now to see if I have $20 to buy this pack.

This seems a tad steep for the album. Haven’t albums with more tracks come out at lower prices? Still, this is the first one since the Cars that I want to get.

At this price point, it’s as if you’re getting two tracks for free, since 12 songs at 160 MSP each would be 1920.
You’re right about previous albums being longer and yet less expensive. The Pixies album Doolittle is 14 tracks long and costs 1520 MSP.
