Those of you who have followed our site for any length of time, and even more so if you’ve ever listened to our fantastic podcast, will know that we are always searching for new and exciting reasons to turn on our Wiis. Now, that doesn’t mean we ever actually FIND a reason, but the point is that at least we’re looking. Developer Red Fly Studio hopes to make us eat our words with their upcoming Wii title Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars. Spore Wars looks like a traditional platformer with a special level of polish that isn’t normally seen on the Wii. The launch trailer (above) has a very unique, campy-movie-trailer style that we really hope is carried over into the game itself. We’ll let you know if this one is worth it as soon as we get our hands on it.
