Mirror’s Edge, now with more physics
BY Emmanuel PettiNovember 19th, 2008 More on:

While PS3 and Xbox 360 owners haven been enjoying Mirror’s Edge, PC gamers are stuck waiting until January to get their hands on it. The good news is the PC version will have added physics support through nVidia’s PhysX engine. It doesn’t really change gameplay (at all) but it does add a few Keanu Reeves “Whoa” moments. So PC gamers might have been screwed initially with the release date, but at least they’re making up for it. Sort of (Not all nVidia cards will work, it needs to be a 8800 or higher series card, and have the PhysX enabled drivers).

That video is pretty sweet, but it doesn’t really look like anything that couldn’t/hasn’t been done on the 360/PS3 before. I wonder why they omitted it from those versions…

you know..usually I don’t buy into the whole PC vs Console argument..but that looks gorgeous. Did the console version have tearing fabric?
