Holy Arkham Asylum teaser, Batman!
BY Mike WehnerNov. 22nd, 2008 More on:

Many Batman enthusiasts were a bit miffed when it was revealed The Dark Knight might not be getting a proper videogame adaptation after all. Their dismay was somewhat dulled with the announcement of Arkham Asylum, a rather unexpected move for the franchise, but one that is looking better with each passing reveal. In the first true Arkham teaser we are privy to some very creepy-looking environments that we can’t wait to explore. Sporting an aesthetic that might be more at home in a BioShock sequel, the new Batman romp already promises to be an experience not at all typical of the superhero genre. The title is still awaiting a release announcement, and we can’t help but think the evil laugh at the conclusion of the video is really just an Eidos associate enjoying our rabid anticipation.

Man Gotham city has to put some money into updating their Asylum, once the civil rights activist get their hands on this they are going to be shut down for a long time.

I know this is simply an environment fly-by, mostly unrelated to how the game will play and feel, but it’s still damn awesome.
