Rumor / PS3 to get price cut in Europe
BY Se Ajala Nov. 24th, 2008 More on:

Word on the street is that Sony is looking to get a little ‘more competitive’ in the European market. According to information leaked by D+Pad, SCEE president David Reeves was going on about how “his division was the toast of the SCE business due to Playstation sales.” Reeves made these supposed comments Friday at the SCE’s Staff Annual Briefing, touting strong PAL sales as a reason for a rumored price cut to take effect in March.

But that wasn’t the only rumor that had people buzzing at the super top secret meeting. It was also alleged that Uncharted 2 and God of War 3 were also on display. To make reference to an old unspoken forum rule: “Pics or didn’t happen!”

We kid, we kid. But seriously, keep in mind that the official word from Sony is: “Information discussed within the confines of internal company meetings is confidential and subject to change. We do not have anything to announce at present and we do not comment on rumor and speculation.” Can’t say that we haven’t heard that one before.
