You know, I was starting to think that Gran Turismo 5 was never going to see the light of day. I mean, I’m okay with that considering I’ve been staring at GT: Prologue for months and it still looks pretty. For those of you who aren’t content with the teaser, well, you have something to celebrate. The Spanish newspaper, El Financiero, talked to Sony chief executive, James Armstrong, and he let slip a release window for GT5. According to Armstrong the game should be out Christmas 2009 in Europe.
“For next year, the chief executive of Sony Computer Entertainment for southern Europe said that they are developing a new game thriller, in which the player may be designing their own history, and the new version of Gran Turismo, which will arrive at Christmas,” said the article.
Oh yeah, and the developer is working on a new game. But who cares about that? I can now look forward to driving my virtual Ferrari through virtual exotic locations! Woo!
