Yarg! Piracy was one of the reasons Nintendo decided to develop the DSi to be the successor to the DS Lite. But it appears that their success may have been short lived, as not even 2 months since the DSi’s release the handheld has already been cracked.

The cracking of the DSi comes courtesy of Acekard and their Acekard 2i- which they say is the only DSi flash cartridge available that can crack the handheld. Here at TVGB we don’t advocate the use of pirating materials, so I’m not going to get into all of the features that the Acekard 2i is said to have. But word on the street is that the card has basically the same features as its predecessors and works like a charm. Don’t just take our word for it, watch the video above.
